I just had to log in and let everyone know about our experience with Meredith Schlosser, our real estate agent. This is without a doubt a gushing review, but it’s the truth and I rarely, if ever, log in to social media or review sites to announce these things, but I truly believe sharing our experience will help the community. There simply are not enough superlatives to describe our experience with Meredith and her team. I literally called Meredith 6 weeks ago after hearing many good things on Facebook and speaking with neighbors, and told her we were ready to sell our home. What happened afterwards can essentially be described as flawless execution at lightening speed. Documentation, pictures, videos and everything else needed were all coordinated with minimal effort from my wife and I. The house was listed, multiple offers were received, negotiations occurred, and we sold our house well over asking, with a 30 day escrow, to an incredible family. There were so many requirements along the way, between escrow, inspection, etc., and I had many questions. I always had instant access to the team, and always received instant answers. I must say that our experience is not unique- after 7 years in Playa Vista, I have seen many, many of our friends and neighbors use Meredith, and all of them always had the same things to say. Expert Negotiation Secures Rapid Tenant Placement
Where to begin? Meredith helped us list our Playa Vista condo to rent before our cross-country move and found us amazing tenants who were able to move into the unit the day after we moved out. Meredith's team even was able to negotiate rent paid up-front, 6 months at a time! When we were ready to sell our condo, Meredith and her team were right there with us. They listed it for sale in November 2021. Since we were out-of-state, it was incredibly important for us to work with someone we trusted and who understood Playa Vista real estate. Our unit had an amazing view, but we didn't think the comps in the area reflected its value and Meredith advised us on a sale price that took this unique view into account. She 100% believed in the value of the unit. Meredith and her team had an awesome game plan for finding us a great buyer while our unit was still occupied by our tenants. They marketed the condo aggressively, while still respecting our tenant's time and privacy. Within 2 weeks she found us AWESOME buyers who offered us the price we wanted. Not surprisingly, the appraisal came in low because of comps, but again Meredith believed in the value of our unit and her badass negotiating skills made sure we didn't lose the deal or lose a single penny. Throughout the process, Meredith was always available and responsive. She made sure we were always updated and in the loop every step of the way. We also worked a ton with her Chief Operating Officer, Amanda, who was incredible! Amanda was professional, detail-oriented, and efficient.
